The man in front of me kept moving around in his chair, so I apologize for the occasional sound of the squeaky chair. Jackie's first full performance as Elizabeth (Liz/Beth). She is an absolute force to be reckoned with on that stage. Not one slip up, not a single hint of nerves, completely comfortable and in control. If you are attending the show and Idina is out, you will not be disappointed with the magnificent performance that Jackie is giving.

WILLOW'S TEA: Audio quality is decent. Was quite surprised with Jackie in this, especially as I find her Broadway performances lackluster. Her tone in delivering/signing some of the lines were exquisite and tear-inducing.

WILLOW'S TEA: A decent quality audio. There is a lot of rustling at some points. The audience is quiet for the most part, a bit of coughing can be heard here and there, the applause is not overpowering. Idina was very emotional during Act 2. There was extra emotion and bitterness in I Hate You especially that caught me off guard. Amazing performance.

NOTES: Line flub during the last part of What the Fuck. Idina forgets the lyrics and tries to keep going with random words until she gives up and admits that she screwed up the lyrics. Everyone goes wild. She tries to remember the lyrics & comments that Josh was sweating and shaking with laughter next to her. She was trying really hard to remember the lyric but somehow kept getting stuck on the same line. She restarts the last verse, stumbles over the same lyric again, but finishes the song & holds the note forever. James was super sweaty when he came out from under the covers after the song and ad libs about New York radiators.

WILLOW'S TEA: Clear audio. the line flub was so adorable. now I know what Idina means when she talks about making noises that sound like the lyrics. And she talked about walker it was just too adorable and I had to try not to laugh at work while I was listening to this. Interesting how it brought me out of the show and for the first time in a while it made me think about how people are presenting these stories to you.

If someone who knows something about audio editing thinks they can do something to this audio, I would gladly accept the help. This show changed so much and I would love to listen to a beta version of it. TLDR, good for collectors, not practical. Very sad :'(

WILLOW’S TEA: Lots of echoes and it can be heard to make out what they’re saying at times, especially when it gets loud, but it’s nice to hear an Elizabeth who doesn’t sound like someone famous I know (does that make sense?). Janine did such a good job in the role and held her own very well. Had great timing and delivery, amazing vocals. She put so much emotion into the performance and has so much power, I just wish the audio was a bit better quality. Learn to Live Without had the audience so shook they didn’t know if they should applaud or not, worth the listen for that. Despite not being the best quality, this is the better Janine!Elizabeth performance.

WILLOW'S TEA: The music is clear, but the speaking is hard to make out. It kind of sounds like an echoing train station intercom with all the echoing. You Don't Need to Love Me is quite well captured, I think Anthony's lower voice helped mitigate some of the echoing issues. Would not recommend for a first time listen (honestly don't listen to the show for the first time, watch it, you won't understand what is happening. They're parallel stories and even with the visuals sometimes it's hard to follow who's story you're in). The audience laughter was great and Tamyra did an amazing job as Kate during No More Wasted Time. Quite a bit of coughing and odd banging/noises can be heard throughout. Includes curtain call!

WILLOW'S TEA: The audio is okay, it is a little bit echo-y. It was a very, very strong performance though. Sounds far away from the stage, can be hard to hear the higher-pitched voices. It varies between being very quiet and very loud. Anthony Rapp sounds the clearest and his bits tend to be the loudest. The audience really sounds like a laughing track in this, which is a bit amusing to listen to. However, there aren't any voice cracks due to the recording quality. Not the worst If/Then audio I've heard but I would only recommend it if you know the show as it's not the clearest audio out there and it would be easy to miss some lines here and there. The master can be heard chuckling a lot.

WILLOW'S TEA: This was an emotional performance (or at least it was for me while I listened to it and contemplated that this was the last time anyone ever saw the original If/Then). The stage action is quiet, but the audience was very loud in the beginning, so be wary if listening with headphones. Jackie's acting choices still aren't my favourite, however, they seemed much more rounded here. Still, her voice is absolutely gorgeous, especially when she's not trying to sing as Idina. her signing choices are 10/10, my ears are in heaven. They came through wonderfully in the recording, especially during Some Other Me. Everyone was giving it their all. I think the theatre wasn't great for audio recording as the other audios I've listened to from this stop have the same far-away feeling. I'm not sure why, but I was expecting a speech or something given that this is the final show ever.
