Little Red Riding Hood Strikes Back! - Annual Holiday Pantomime (QC, Canada) - January 4, 2023 (FaceInTheMirror’s master)
Format: MP3 (untracked) [218MB]
Cast: [Redacted]
Notes: Recorded on an external audio recorder. An original panto written for the theatre; fundraising event for company. Please do not list with the theatre despite it being mentioned in the show. Voices are clear until there’s music, though this was more of a venue issue as it was hard to hear during the performance. The kids and grandparents in the first/second row were having a riot. The kid kicking my friend’s seat can be heard throughout. Candy noises in Act 2 because they gave them out in Act 1.
Come From Away - First US National Tour (Ottawa, ON) - January 8, 2023 (FaceInTheMirror’s master)
Format: MP3 (tracked & untracked) [541MB]
Cast: Marika Aubrey (Beverley & Others), Kevin Carolan (Claude & Others), Harter Clingman (Oz & Others), Christine Toy Johnson (Diane & Others), Julie Johnson (Beulah & Others), James Earl Jones II (Bob & Others), James Kall (Nick & Others), Julia Knitel (Janice & Others), Ali Momen (Kevin J./Ali & Others), Kirsten Peace (Bonnie & Others), Danielle K. Thomas (Hannah & Others), Jeremy Woodard (Kevin T./Garth & Others)
Notes: Recorded on an external audio recorder. Entire show, including Screech Out. Tried out one of the music settings over voice options, and the songs are less muffled than in my previous masters. Dialogue is noticeably quieter, but still audible. Audience was great, it seemed like people weren't familiar with the show at all or knew what to expect so lots of laughter and reactions. Couple next to can be overheard whispering from time to time.
Playbill scans included.
As You Like It: A Radical Retelling - Great Canadian Theatre Company, Ottawa, ON - January 21, 2023 (Matinee) (Highlights) (FaceInTheMirror’s master)
Format: MP3 (untracked) [58.4MB]
Cast: Cliff Cardinal
Notes: Great show, very radical. Cast was amazing. 35 minutes of a 70min show, must have knocked the off button during some audience interaction by accident. Recorded on an external audio recorder. Don’t skip the land acknowledgement ;). This was a very unique piece of theatre and I’m glad to have seen it and that I’m able to share what I recorded.
Digital Playbills included.
